Semiya Laddu | Vermicelli Balls

Laddus are sweet balls that are made during festive occasions or other joyful moments.Though laddus are prepared using gram flour mostly but this is a very different version of laddus using vermicelli. These are very crispy, crunchy and delightful, unlike the regular soft chewy laddus. They can be prepared in minutes and can be served for kids as evening snack.Hope u guys will give this a try & Enjoy making this at home with kids !!!

Ingredients
vermicelli/semiya 250
condensed milk 1/2 tin
butter 50 gm
vanilla essence 1 drop/cardamom powder
raisins 2 tbsp

Method
-Heat a pan and add the butter in it,Fry the raisins.Keep aside on a plate.
-Add the vermicelli and fry the vermicelli in a pan till golden brown.Add in the vanilla essence ,condensed milk & fried raisins.
-Mix to combine, dry up the moisture.Switch off flame when it starts to leave the sides of the pan.
-Take small portions in your palm and make balls.
-Serve !!

Servings ~ 15-20 balls/laddus

NOTES
* You can add cardamom powder instead of vanilla too.
* You can even add broken cashews for added taste instead of raisins.
* You can use fat free condensed milk too if u would like to avoid the extra calories.
