Soya -Black Eyed Peas Stir Fry

Today I happened to try this recipe with soya granules.Soya is a rich source of protein ,I also used black eyed peas(frozen one) which is another rich source of fibre and iron.A very nutritious dish with plain rice.

Ingredients
soya granules 1/2cup
black eyed peas1/2cup
onion 1/2chopped
greenchilli 3-4 (optional if u want it more spicy)
turmeric powder 1 tsp
pepper powder 1tsp
mustard
salt
oil

METHOD
Cook the soya granules as per the packet instructions .I had used nutrela soya granules.
Rinse it with cold water and keep aside.
Place a pan on medium heat and splutter mustard.
Add the chopped onions and saute for a minute.
Now add the black eyed peas and add turmeric powder and salt.
Add the pepper powder .
Cover and cook for 6-7minutes with half cup of water.
Now add the soya granules.
Stir and mix it well .
Cook for another 2minutes.
Dry the water content and garnish with curry leaves,
